A Memorable First On-Set Experience at Parul University | Rajan Chauhan Film Director As a Film Student.

Our primary responsibility was to coordinate the production and ensure smooth communication between departments during the shoot. As often happens in filmmaking, the director also asked members of the crew to appear on screen as junior artists whenever needed. We wore traditional Gujarati attire and became a small part of the story while continuing our behind-the-scenes responsibilities.
The production brought together more than 100 students, making it an incredible learning experience in teamwork, coordination, and large-scale filmmaking. The song beautifully portrays the journey of someone arriving in Gujarat from another state during Navratri and discovering the warmth, traditions, culture, hospitality, and vibrant spirit of Gujarat through music and dance.
What made this project even more remarkable was its technical execution. The entire music video was designed as a continuous one-shot sequence and was successfully completed in just two takes. Watching every department work in perfect synchronization taught me how preparation, timing, coordination, and trust are essential to achieving an ambitious creative vision.
Being part of this production strengthened my passion for filmmaking and gave me valuable experience in managing on-set coordination while witnessing how large teams come together to create something truly memorable.
